Our Staff

Anne Allen

Anne is the founder and owner of Crystal Creek Stables. Anne started Crystal Creek Stables in 2005, when she decided to start doing lessons on her own, rather than under the name of another local farm.

Anne has been riding since she was able to sit up on her own consitently. Anne began riding with her aunt, Shirley. Anne was not able to ride consitently because Shirley lived 2 hours away. When she was 11 she started spending every school break and most of the summer at her aunts, so she could practice riding, and learning about horses. At 12 Anne started showing with her aunt at local dressage and open shows.

At 14, Anne started volunteering for a local Therapuetic RIding Program and Lesson Program. This was the start of Anne's teaching career. By 16 she was heading up lessons, birthday parties, and summer camps. During this time, Anne convinced her dad to buy her first horse, Morena. Anne started taking riding lessons at Cornerstone Farm, and showing at local shows with Cornerstone Farm
At 17 Anne decided to start teaching lessons and hosting summer camps on her own, using her horse Morena, and Katy and Sioux were donated to her during this year.   Anne has been teaching lessons, summer camps, and hosting birthday parties ever since.

While teaching lesson, Anne has continued her showing career also. In 2006 she showed a Friesian Stallion for Dark Horse Farm, where they consitently won their events with scores in the 60s and 70s; and attending Breyerfest. In addition to Showing, Patriot, Anne continued to show her mares Sabrina, Morena, and Katy.

Now Anne is teaching at her and Davids home in Lexington NC, hosting birthday parties, and summer camps. Anne and her students attend local horse shows.
