CALYPSO
Calypso is our pride and joy. He is an American Warmblood/ Friesian Sporthorse Stallion (and is dually registered with the American Warmblood Society and Friesian Sporthorse Registry). Calypso was born July 7th, 2005. From the beginning Calypso was full of personality and had an eye catching color and movements.
Calypso was inspected with the American Warmblood Society at 9 months, and recieved a Red Perferred Status, with a score of 67.250. We will be taking Calypso back to be inspected this year (2011).
Calypso started his show career in 2010, with a handful of local shows incuding dressage, open, and one horse trial. Calypso is very laid back at shows, and many people are amazed that he is a young stallion. Calypso will be attending multiple dressage shows in 2011, and we will update with his dressage scores and photos. Calypso will also attend a few combined training events.

Calypso's first filly, born April 2009, Tia (pictured to the right). Tia was a surprise baby from an unplanned breeding. Tia's dam is an Appaloosa Mare, approx. 13.3 hands with the "rat tail appy" mane and tail. Tia's markings, mane/tail, and movements are characteristic of her sire, Calypso. Tia shows a lot of Friesian qualities in her thick mane/tail, gaits, and personality. Tia has a huge floating trot, and an uphill canter, and shows great potential for the dressage arena. Calypso's Second filly, Summer Breeze, is another loud colored paint filly. Born June 2011. Breezie is a very fancy gal, and shows potential in dressage and jumping, Breezie exhibits a floating trot, and powerful canter! She has a freisian mane (thick and wavy). Breezie, is a laid back filly. She has her daddy's personaility 100%. Her dam was a Morgan mare, and was very high strung. Nothing seems to bother breezie, and she is a quick learner! We are looking forward to seeing her mature into a eye stopping, award winning mare!
