Calypso

Calypso is an American Warmblood/Friesian Sporthorse Stallion, who will be 6 this year (2011). He is double registered, with AWS and FSHR. Calypso is currently showing in Intro and training level dressage, 2'3 fences, and maiden and beginner novice horse trials. In addition to his show career, Calypso is also a great trail horse, and rides well with other horses (mares and geldings). Calypso has an amazing personality and is very loyal. He knows that he is the protector of the herd, and will protect both his fellow horses and his humans.

Soldier's Pride

Soldier is very special to our family, he is out of Anne's first mare, Morena, and by her aunts stallion (both sire and dam have crossed the rainbow bridge to greener pastures). Soldier is a 6 year old Quarter Horse Cross. He is a very laid back boy, and acts as if he is a 15 year old professional show horse. Soldier has started his showing career in dressage, jumping, and one horse trial. He is also a fabulous trail horse as not many things bother him! He is very talented from his floating dressage trot to his perfect jumping form!

Sky

Sky is the ULTIMATE trail mount, she is smooth, laid back, level headed, and will go anywhere you ask. Sky is a 9 year old TWH and is quite different from the rest of the horses at CCS. Sky is only used for trail rides, but is one of the favorites!

Reba's Texas Belle

"Reba" is a 15.2hand, 6 year old, Paint Mare. She has been shown in western pleasure. Reba is a great all around mare. She rides western and english. Reba is starting the fundalmentals of dressage. Reba is a wonderful trail horse.

Tequila Night

Tia was our suprise baby, born April 2009. Tia is out of Sioux a rat tail appy mare standing only 13.3 hands, and Calypso, our Friesian Sporthorse Stallion. Tia is 100% a daddy's girl, with his personality, looks, and movements! Tia has many friesian traits, even though she is only 1/8th friesian. She has the long, thick, mane, a small amount of feathering, and huge trot movement. Tia has captured our hearts with her personality and charm. Tia will have an incrediable career in dressage, jumping, or eventing.

Snickers

Snickers is Cheyenne's pony. He is very special to our family, since he is Cheyenne's first pony. He has a typical pony personality but is a great little ride. He is great with children and will go anywhere you ask him to. Cheyenne and Snickers will be entering local dressage shows (Walk Only, Lead Line) and local rodeos (Pee Wee Barrel Racing)!

Twix

Twix is the FIRST miniture at CCS. We are very thankful to our friends for Twix! Twix is only 6 months and has he gets older, we hope to teach him to drive and look forward to taking him to local parades!

RIP Morena - The first, the best, the PERFECT HORSE!

Words can not describe how much Morena meant to us, and how devasting her departure was, but we know she is where she can run free, graze endlessly, and waiting at the gates for us to come and ride her to heaven. Morena barrel raced, competed in pole bending, and reining in her younger days. Then Morena and Anne met, Anne fell in love, convinced her dad to buy Morena. After Anne purchased Morena she added lesson horse, therapy horse, jumping, dressage, and teaching all ages to enjoy horses to her resume. Morena helped so many, young and old, overcome their fears of horses, and learn to enjoy and see how relaxing riding can be. Morena was the first in so many ways, and will always be number 1. No matter how hard we looked, how far we traveled you could never find a better gal.
