Petting Zoo
We are available to bring the goats, calf, and a pony (or two) to events such as birthday parties, vacation bible school and other church events, school events, and any other event! The petting zoo, does include pony rides. Our goats, and calf are very friendly and love attention!
Price will depend on the length (one or two hours), and the distance we will travel.
Scout Merit Badges
we offer a chance for boy and girl scouts to earn any of their merit badges in horsemanship. Each scout will get a notebook with all the information they need to learn to earn their badges. Each scout will get a mounted a lesson, learning the fundalmentals of riding. We have made a program based off what is required for scouts to learn. We will divide the scouts into groups. Cost will vary depending on the number of scouts and length of the course.
Team Building Exercises
Looking for a fun way to teach a group of people to work as a team? We have an little 'game' to play with the horses that teaches a group to work together. We can cutomize the exerise to fit the age, ability, and size of your group. Many business have found that this a great way to get there team members to work together. We have done this activity with children and adults, in groups of 3-4 to 15-20! These exercises were designed orginally for a equine assissted therapy program, but has been proven to be very benefical in teaching team work.
So what is this exercise? Without talking, the group must devise a plan to get the horse over the jump set up in the middle of an areana. You can not touch, bribe, hit, or use objects to touch the horse! Trust us, there is no way to complete this exercise without working together!
Price will vary depending on the group. Price is per person. Exercise can be followed by a hay ride or riding lesson.
